I purchased the X-treme set and really like it. Today I used the bibs without the bib part and wore them as pants. I only used the inner jacket and left the outer one at home. The wind was blowing and fairly cool. I could have fished without a heater with no problem at all. With the bib part attached and the outer coat it will be the real deal. I did get the knees wet but it did not go through.

I have the Xtremes also and I love them. The Jacket is great and the bibs excellent also. Lots and lots of pockets and so on. Gonna be great for when I get up there in Jan.

Great Stuff, I have the regular Ice Armour-not the extremes. I use it all season long. I just layer up as needed.

I have the regular (smurf blue) suit ,,its great for ice fishing and open water,,layering is the key tho,,,the padded knees and seat are great ,,I purchased the mitts recently ,,they were warmer then my gore-tex by a long shot

I also agree with the statements above. I fished last night for 3 hours without the heater in a strong wind. The wind didn't cut through my jacket or bibs. I have the X suit and it is fantastic!

Hiya -

I got a set of the Extreme gear late this fall. Used it for the bitter end of open water. Fantastic stuff. Amazingly warm but still breathes. Windproof as all get out too. Plus just well thought-out design like snaps instead of Velcro, large pockets, etc. Love my set.
