Please critique - pictures added

These are some pictures of Gooseberry Falls taken this past summer. They were taken with a Panasonic DMC-FX01 camera. I am very interested in photography but do not know the first thing about it - other than point and click. I would like to purchase a camera that has the extended lens and start shooting, learning as I go.

Anyhow, could you experienced photographers please critique these pics for me. What should I have done differently?

And if any of you would be willing to talk more in depth I would be very appreciative. [email protected]

Mugs, you should be able to go to the main photo sharing board here, see the stickied "how to post pics here" thread toward the top and follow those directions to post the images here.

One things to remember, once you have copied the link to your picture make sure to hit the image icon directly below the post area. A pop up image box will pop up and that is where you need to paste your link.
