MAKE A MUSKIE DIFFERENCE

I have been looking for a way for you to make a positive impact on the Muskie world and not sacrificing allot of time out of our busy schedules, and I found something important, this is the Citizens input form put out by the LCCMR(Legislative Citizens Commission on Minnesota Resources) they have money to appropriate to MN Resource issues, 44 Million total and 22 Million bucks per year starting 2007, if each of us could just fill out the form expressing our need for Maintained Stocking, New Lakes, Increases in Education, and Research, it would be a great thing for us and Muskies, along with helping secure future funding and interest in our Sport and more than that, our lives even if your from out of state fill it out and if they deem them not acceptable then that will be their decision, but at least we tried.

I will send it in. We all should. This citizens commision is a good thing - we won't necessarily be relying on politicians to make all our decisions. Ron Schara is on this board, and although he may seem a bit flaky at times, I know he likes to Musky fish occasionally and has done a few shows on it with like Al Maas, etc. You never know what might help - the more input we provide the better.

another thing to do to make a big impact is write a letter or E-mail to your Senate or House Rep and tell them your concerns and invite them to a MI meeting to get to know us and our issues.
