What are some good (safe) sites to download music from? I'm new to this and have heard horror stories about viruses. Thanks for the help.

Im not going to go into the legality of that because thats another conversation. I will say that limeware,bear share, bit torrents and a whole list of file sharing programs will get you the music but be warned that these programs are not safe. It is easy for a user to mask a virus in your favorite song. Not to mention the adware and spyware you will get from using them.

I think you are looking for legit legal downloads where you pay for the music. If so walmart has a music download service and it looks pretty competitive and it will be safe.

Just trying to steer someone new in the direction I think they are looking for.
