airdriver
I took my waders off yesterday after hunting. Both legs just above the boot line where wet. Also had other wet spots. Hunted all day, was active, with putting out deeks and walking around. The waders are neoprene 5mm. When down today and felt inside both legs above the boot line and the are still wet. They are hung up using wader hangers inside the house. The wet mspots where on my pants. I was wearing to layers of long johns. Is this sweat? It seems like rather wet to be sweat. The wet spots were in the same spot on both legs. And do waders take that long to dry? thanks for the help
Fish_Off
I have a pair of 3mm and I still have sweat marks no matter how cold it gets and I usually wear only a pair of sweat pants. If you think they leak though try going into a dark closet and putting a flash light inside and looking for light.
wyldewal
I have a pair of 5mm neoprene waders from gander and if I move at all I am soaked with sweat. I've sat still in a duck blind all morning in 20 degree weather and had my legs sweat. I guess there just that warm or they don't breath as good as they should. I usually turn them inside out down to the boots when I get home to dry them because if I just hang them there wet for a week. I think I need to get a lighter pair for some of those warmer days. catman71
so our only choices are leaking or sweat?don't make me be the one to mention the third option!!!just kidding! it's sweat, leave them inside out inside at night (so they don't freeze)

I agree--wader dryers will make my neoprenes moisture-free overnight and they are cheap!!! I got one for 16.99 from Shopko I think and it works like a champ. Gordie
boot drier was the best thing that I ever got from a X-mas party from work. It didnt come with extentions so I made my own with some 11/2 pvc pipe cut to lenth and wala they fit my chest waders. Its so nice to put your feet into dry waders on a 20 degree morning.
