Fisher mount

Now that all I need is for a fisher to poke his nose in one of my traps, what do I do with one? I'm leaning towards a rug if I get a nice one, probably sell the hide if it isn't. Anyone seen a fisher rug? How'd it look? Any other ideas? Probably not a full mount. Later.

i have seen fisher rugs and they are great along with mounts of fishers but when i get my first fisher it will be a rug. Hope you get one. I am going to be trapping for them again this year and cant wait. Got my fingers crossed i get a bobcat to boot.

Sounds like one vote for a rug - I'm leaning that way as I already have a nice yote rug. I'd like a bobcat also, and I have a tag for one this year Also on the list is a red fox, grey fox, and then a bear. Eventually a wolf and mountain lion. I must have a fur fetish

Cooter, a friend of mine who is a taxidermist mounted his fisher jumping over a deer shed antler. Wow, it looks good. He even won a award with it at a show. I'll try to get a pic for ya.

Well I'm all ready to trap this weekend! The one and only thing I know for sure is that I'm deathly afraid of #220 conibears Will report on Mon - hopefully without any stories of Cooter's forearm sandwiched in a fisher trap

Don't count your chickens before they hatch there Cooter, Ya need to kill one, then you can figure out what to do with it.

I can't seem to kill a deer this year so I'm hoping the fisher trapping will go a bit smoother.

how hard is it to pull a fisher tag in wi i know over here in minnesota we can take up to 5 fishers a year.

I love fur rugs. I don't have a fisher, but I have a bear and a racoon and a grey fox. The fisher would be great, I say go for it!
