Anyone know any details to what was working for these guys? I fished tonka pretty hard this weekend and had very little luck (one 29"er on Friday). I tried everything in the box from deep to shallow... even tried a few suckers. The only thing that worked was a suick in 6 fow.

I have heard that gliders and jerkbaits on the outside. Topwaters put two in the boat for me on friday, saturday nothin worked and sunday was too freakin cold and my equipment wasn't workin right.

We spent a miserable day on the water on Friday. Buddy had one fish on, but mistakenly thought it was just his lure tangled up.

We did see one person net a fish, curious if it was you TBone. It was on the East end of the lake, were you in a Alumacraft fishing alone?

I actually caught a 44 on Sunday. It was my first itme ever on Minnetonka and I had just finished up throwing for muskies and started throwing for bass. A pretty lucky deal I caught her on a 3 inch tube with 8lb mono. I'd forgotten how much fun it is to bring in the real big ones(I've strayed from the muskie flock, more of a smallmouth/northern guy). It's a great feeling when you have a reel with the drag working perfectly and luck is on your side! I was shaking so bad I cut my thumb getting the tube out of her. I definitely put in the time but it's nice to be at the right place and time so late in the year, it'll warm me in the cold months to come.
