Crops in morris area.

I was wondering how they are doing on the crops in the morris area. I am going pheasant hunting in that area next weekend and wondering if anyone had some info.

I made a trip out that way today. I was surprised by how much of the crops were out. I'd say 40%.? Birds were very skittish, after opening weekend guess that should be expected.

I live in Morris and bow hunt about a 50 mile radius around here. Crops are 60% out, and they are still rolling in the fields. Seen lots of birds this weekend, now if I can just get people to stop trespassing and road hunting, my hunting would be a lot better. We did catch some trespassers on one of my trail cams this weekend so that was cool. They are be charged as I write this.

I really doubt they will be all out by this weekend. There is way to much still in the field for them to finish it by this weekend.

I was wrong. Hunted near Appleton and there is still alot let. Got our birds but say many more. But that when they get into that corn, man then are gone. Can't wait for late season
