Costs for building a perm

I just did a list and blue-prints for one I want to build next year. This will be my second one, so I want to go top of the line this time. I came up with between $5,200 and $5,500. When I added it all up I was a bit shocked. But the trailers aren't cheap. And that isn't the spot that you want to skimp on the price. If I tried I could probably get that down to $4,500. I know the other half will not let me get another one so I'd better do this one right. Good Luck, Kid

Kid Walleye is right! Don't try to save any money on frames. You will get what you pay for for out there. If you want a good 8 x 16 Hydro frame I would check out the shack rack. If you want a good maual crank down I would check out Fish House Suppy, they also carry the rest of the parts. Good Luck!

Maybe I'm misreading the title here, but a PERM house to me usually indicates a runner/skid bottom. I usually hear "drop down" in the description if that's the plan for the frame.

L2F - what kind of perm are you talking about here? If it's not going to be a drop down frame style, you can cut $1500-1800 off the prices in the above posts.
