Otter Bench Seat

So, these have been out for a little while now, what's the review on them?

Are they worth the money? What's the padding like on the bench? Sufficient enough for a whole day on the ice without sore butt syndrome?

I bought one last year and love it. ChuckN had one the year before, and I really liked how his worked.

The padding is fine. No sore butt at all, and the back support is also good. I leave my seat a little loose on the cross pieces. This way, I can slide it fore and aft to get the perfect spot for back comfort.

It flips up to load gear into the tub, and when it folds down, it also assists in keeping stuff from migrating around a bit.

I think this will be the 4th season with my Otter bench. Well worth the money!

I have had mine now for 5 years, and it is still like new condition. My only complaint is they are a bit heavy, but I would rather have a little more weight and be comfortable all day.

Had mine for two seasons, found it to be very comfortable but does add some weight to the sled (I think its like 30lbs). The thing I like the most about it is the additional seating that it can provide. It turns the two man shack into a 1 man, 2 kid shack when the boys come along.
