If it's shrinkwrapped there should be no problem outside.

Well my favorite dealer didn't get my boat Winterized until early January (I gave it to them in November) so I just kept it outside with a very good cover over it. It made it through just fine. Just make sure your cover support is robust enough to handle the snow load.

I store mine outside. I use a 10x20 tarp with a 2x4 ridge beam down the center of the boat. The 2x4 sits on a pad on top the outboard and a saw horse in the bow. Looks like a tent when I'm done and the rain and snow slides off. I leave both ends oped so air can flow though.
