Marine Radio

What hand held marine radio do you guys suggest. I will mostly be using in on lakes in MN. Occasionally I will be on Superior and Michigan.

There are many good ones on the market. In my opinion, there are many features that nobody I know uses them. I was going to get the Lowrance unit since it is a no-frills unit, but I opted for a Uniden since it had a weather alert option. I do like that feature. So, I recommend one in the $100 (low end) up to $150 or so. I am all about buying the best you need, but the other features are not important to me. Anybody else feel differently or echo what I am saying?
