I have been saving my money and finally have enough. Forest lake Gander has had a few all season. Then I go there the other day to buy and all the goliaths are sold out. I have $200 in gift cards so I am stuck with buying it there. Now what? They have plenty of Vipers but I am 300lbs and 6'0" and thought I would fit the goliath better. What should I do. Wait it out and hope they get one in or break down and get the viper. I am going to camp ripley next week and I really need this stand. I also asked if they are getting any more in. All they will say is we are getting more stuff in on Thursday but they don't know what?

Try calling the Gander in St. Cloud or other locations.

Ask for the manager at Forest to call around to other Ganders and track one down for you and have it transfered to the Forest location. They really should be taking care of you.

I live in Maple Grove and the running joke is if you find something in-stock to consider yourself lucky!

Start looking around to the other Ganders, I bet you will find one somewhere.

I am about the same size and I have both. I prefer the Goliath as its just that little extra width that makes it a better fit, especially when the temps drop and the clothing starts getting a bit thicker / heavier.

Either way, it will fit you OK, its just that the Goliath is a bit more comfortable.

I will ask that. I may even ask if I can have the one hanging on the display. Gander is quite interesting. They have a goliath hanging on the display in forest lake. Yet have none for sale. They have loads of vipers and have none hanging. I talked to a guy on sunday. He came for a harness that was on sale in the add. And they only had 2 in the store and only the small 150lb models. Why would you have a sale item in the add and not have any in stalk. Maybe it is just me but If I was going to have a big sale on a certain item I would at the bare minumum actually have some to sell.

I don't mean to vent but I am quite upset right now for other reasons. I would hope that at the bare min. They could look around and have one shipped for me.

For safety and laibility reasons on their end they likely won't sell a display stand. Put the pressure on them to take care of you, the right manager should.

I found one at the new blaine store and they gave me a 10% discount for all of my trouble. Gander mt screwed up a gift card that I bought and that is why they gave me a discount. Anyways I Have to comend the managers at both the Blaine and Forest lake stores. They did a lot to keep me a happy customer.
