Just saw one at ProFish today. It's a tent mounted on a folding chair and had lots of room. Is this new? Or has it been around for a while? Neat idea either way.

i saw them and i thought it would be great down here on the miss fishing the backwaters. maytimes you have to hike in and pulling a shack is actually a pain. lots of times you hike down from a steep roadside that is really tough to pull back up. i this they have thier place is certain fishing areas.

It's a new house from Nature Vision that will be out this winter. A neat little portable, I got to check one out the other day. For those of you who don't have the room in your vehicle for a larger fish house, this new house from Nature Vision will fit right in your backseat or trunk. Also doubles as a back-pack style portable too...

this thing looks awesome, Matt, how claustrophobic is it?

I hate draggin out the voyager for solo trips, but this and one of my kids sled would be awesome.

is the "canvas" thick or thin?

It's not too bad in regards to space, a little tight for me, but then again I always like a little extra room and I carry a lot of gear The canvas is not going to be like the canvas of your other flip-over style houses, I think the quality is less than that of an Otter or Fish Trap. However, it would be a nice house to throw over your back if you're trecking it croos-county into one of those back-woods lakes...

Basically, it's a folding chair and the canvas is right at the side of it. There was a decent amount of space in front of you, 4-5' I'd guess, but nothing to the sides.

So do you need a shelter lic. for this sweet little house? I sappose since it is a shelter you will need one.or am I wrong..

Yup it will need one. I was told that if it has 3 sides or more its a shelter.
