Mille Lacs Buoys Out

Hey,

Lot of guys headed to Mille Lacs this weekend I'm sure. All the marker buoys on the south end have been pulled, so keep that in mind along with the fact the lake is 2+ feet lower than normal. I think this is the earliest I ever recall them being pulled on the Pond.

Places you used to be able to run may not be so agreeable with your lower unit this year.

Just wanted to pass the info along......

hmmmm... I am sitting here thinking..... Pull all the buoys out because the water is to low..... hmmm.... Am I missing something here? Why?

Sounds like the guy in charge of bouys has a prop shop on the side?

i was up today and saw bouys tipping over at the bottom of waves, hitting bottom, i think shes a few feet low

i have to admitt i worry more about running into a bouy then what it is marking.

When I first bought my GPS, I marked the buoys for every lake that I fished for the 1st couple of years. Very handy to have this time of year.
