Deitz Dittrich
I may be a bit naive, but dont you need some sort of cure to keep the meat from rotting?
DEADhead
maybe the teriyaki sauce has enough salt in it from the soy sauce?
Browning83
I got a very similar recipe when I make goose jerky but add in brown sugar and a good amount of salt. Knock on wood but no one has gotten sick from it. But be sure to keep the jerky in the fridge if you are goin to eat it within a week and anytime after that I throw it in the freezer. I've noticed sometimes the meat gets a funky smell, I end up throwing it away....dont risk it.
