I agree. The netting in the Grand Rapids area is crazy. Every time I head up that way I cant believe how many nets are on the lakes. These lakes are too small to alow that kind of netting pressure in my opinion.

I thought the whitefish season didn't open until the first Friday in November(11/3/06) for Winni. Maybe there's exceptions for commercial harvest. The DNR just updated the Whitefish/Cisco harvest info today on their website.

They were not after tullies in the middle of September. The CO that checked them out knows what they are up to. Enough of this politically correct dump. Don't complain when the limit is two fish.
