i would be interested. I have been looking at this HSOforum/forum reading as much as i can. I haven't had any luck this year and i would like to meet some people from the site and learn. any of those weekends would work. I have a boat to use.

Hearing there is a musky tournament the weekend of 21st. I am not aware of it but I also haven't set foot in a tackle store in 2 months. Anybody know anything about this?

You're right, I totally forgot about that. It's the MMTT Minnetonka Championship Tournament, $30k first prize. Both days, 100 boats. Definitely makes it a "stay away" day.

The 21st is pheasant opener in SD. That's where I will be. I can go on the 28th. I haven't caught a musky out there since November 15th of last year.

Was out there yesterday, raised one fish and that was it. She was pretty hot on it but turned and burned once she got close. My mistake, it was windy and I had the trolling motor on. Went to 8 her and led her right into the direction of the turning prop. Hey, I never said I was smart!

Looked like a July weekend out there.....busy!!!

I am unable to get out the 28th - outlaws in town and it looks like I'll be stuck mega malling ANyhow if anyone wants to meet up I'd suggest Gray's. As the weekend tourney showed the skis are on the prowl so go out and get some. Maybe I can find a nice pink outfit for anyone who breaks 50" - I suspect Moby1 woud look great in pink.

Sounds like the buoys are all pulled. Couple that with low lake levels and it makes for tough driving. Know where you're at and ideally have the chip that shows where the buoys were at.

Good luck and try to keep the lower unit in one piece!
