Looking for a battery

Scoot

Question

I had a trolling motor batter dump out on me last week. I plan on replacing both batteries next Spring. However, I don't want to replace one now and then store the new battery over the Winter in a month.

Any suggestions for where I can get a used battery for very cheap to help me limp through the next month and a half? Lots of guys must have older, but not crapped out trolling motor batteries that they plan on replacing next Spring... Anyone know if a battery place might sell me a still good battery from a used trolling motor set (where one crapped out and the owner replaced them both)? I'd guess not.

I'm in Fargo and get in or around Crookston, Grand Forks, and Detroit Lakes frequently. Any possible solutions in any of these areas would be great.

Thanks,

email me or call I think I can help you out I have two deep cell ups batteries that I had in my boat. I got two new ones last spring. These are changed every three years by one of my customers. they are much better than a normal deep cycle.

I don't know how much capacity you need but since your not expecting much and plan on only using it for a month or so, you might be able to get by with just a used car battery from a salvage yard. It would be cheap and wouldn't give you a lot of time on the water but for a month?
