Wear strips

I'm looking for some cheap wear strips for my flip over portable, any ideas where I can find some? Who's made their own? What did you use?

I have a Quik-Flip III and I went to Play-It-Again Sports and got some old downhill skis. If they have any with the old-style bindings, they can't sell them and they'll give them away. After removing the bindings, I bolted them to the sled of my portable. They have held up for three seasons of pulling my portable a block to Forest Lake access.

I use hyfax for from sled suspnsion there cheep like 8 bucks and they last you can get them at any snowmoible place

I don't know what sled has hyfax that only cost $8, but I wish it was mine. Cost me $40 a year for two new ones.

Do a search for "UHMW Rectangular Bar" on Yahoo or Google. You'll only need the thickness to be 1/4". Super tough and super slick.

Thanks swags that is the kind of stuff I have been looking for to put under my otter lodge. I tried the downhill skis but I cross tar and other junk plus pulling behind snowmobile I think just makes it wear quicker. I might haul to much junk also . I will have to order some of this stuff.
