How did it go for everyone?

We saw a good number of doves and managed to shoot 23 for 3 guys in about 4 hours. We moved around alot and had a tough time finding a large concentration of birds that were huntable. We saw about 200+ around some city ponds that we couldnt hunt unfortunately.

I was happy that after the first few flew by untouched much to my dismay, I picked it up and found my shot again after quite the off-season. I even ended the day on a long high crossing shot that will hopefully give me some confidence on the geese tomorrow.

Got four myself in a hour or less. Went out bout 1030 til 1130. Not exacty prime time but with my work thats bout all i could do. Starting Wed. night i get my 7 off so they better take cover as the geese better to.

I drove around for about 4 hours just trying to loacate some places on the map get an idea where they were and get an idea of whether id hunt there or not only shot a couple shots drove down 212 to state 15 headed south then back west on 19 then south on 4 then turned around back to 212 then went east all the way to near whitewater refuge some alright amount of doves near some of the areas i checked out in western minnesota mostly on power lines they arent moving to much yet in these areas.

Flowage Tamer and I got out today after a disappointing start to the goose season and put the hurt on the doves instead...today's total for 3 guys was 32 doves and boy were they fun! We all agreed that since we'll be hunting geese well into December it was worth it to be succeeding on the doves rather than the honkers. As for location I will say that our spot was within 20 minutes of St. Cloud.
