RuKiddingMe
Ok I figure with the Wild Turkey Hunting Season right around the corner it wouldn't be a bad idea to get some ideas on how to cook them, that is provided you are lucky enough to bag and tag one. If by some stroke of god I get a turkey this year it will be my first, for 4 attempts, and to be completely honest I'm not real sure how to prepare them. I was thinking Grill it on a Weber Coal Grill or Deep Frying in a Turkey Frier and invite all my friends over. Thanks In Advance Guys and GalsMatt
Guest
Deep frying is about as good as it gets for a wild turkey. Just inject it with your favorite marinade and fry it just as you would a domestic bird. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!Scheuney

Bodyman
I like to skin the bird, then debone the breast. Cut into strips about an inch thick. Dredge in seasoned flour and panfry, much like a fish fillet. No chance of the bird drying out this way and is very good, The legs are very tough on a wild turkey. I use the legs and the rest of the bird for soup. Fishing is Life.
