Boat Re-wiring Q's

PierBridge

Question

I was wondering what gage wire and how many lines to run, I'm going from the back of the boat where the battery will be to the front it'a an 18' boat and I will be the running the wires under the floor.

I want to be able to run a trolling motor, bow light, spotlight, livewell, electric anchor, flasher, plus my gas tank will be up front so a fuel gage sensor also.

Can I run one heavy gage and slice in up front or should I run seperate wires?

I was thinking of running the wires through a PVC pipe up to the front.....

Thanks Pier....

If you want for $ 25.00 I can sell you harnesses with all the wires for almost anything including speakers.

They are from boat manufacturers, it's marine grade, correct gauge, and standard color codes.

I'd go with the harness and thats a heck of a price.

Your going to have your trolling motor separate from everything else.

One set or wires feed your breakers and switches. From there each accessory will have it own wiring from the switch.

Val, I might be interested in purchasing a wire harness from you, I have some questions. Could you send me an email, briantorbert @ hotmail (Contact Us Please).

I would be looking at the wiring for aerator/livewell. Thanks, Brian.
