Catch cover install question..

Kylersk

Recommended Posts

Cross post from the equip forum, but got no reply there.. so I thought I'd try here.

Ok, the Catch Cover depth is 1 3/4". My floor is 2.5" deep (1.5" insulation, 1/2 bottom and 1/2 top plywood). So, how do people, that have sandwiched floors, seal off the whole 2.5" opening so water doesnt get in between your floors?

could you buy another catch cover for each hole and mount the inside part from the underside of the fishhouse. if it doesnt fit flush, trim them to fit against each other and seal it. not the cheapest route but it would seal it nicely

catch cover makes a sleeve for their system that extends it to the ice for taller ice shacks. i would think these would work welll for what you need kylersk. by the way they are made in hutch. you could maybe check them out. they also have a cool little bracket that fastens to the wall and it flips up and takes a removed lid upsidedown and makes it into a little table for drinks and stuff. check them out on their HSOforum. ... paul
