Where can I get a livewell intake screen/filter?

My livewell pump has been taking in little rocks which cause the pump to lock up and blow a fuse. I noticed that I don't have any type of screen or filter on the water intake hole on the transom. I went to West Marine and they don't carry any. Does anyone know where I can get one?

You might be able to use a screen designed for a faucet in your house. I believe they make those in various sizes. If not you could just by some screen and fit it on with epoxy in the line maybe.

I believe I got mine from Fleet Farm, let me know if you find one mine's getting a little banged up.....

I have seen them at Gander Mountain and also at L&M Supply. I would guess that most marine places carry them. I’m suprised that West Marine doesn’t but maybe because they

are more into the bigger boats, and they don’t have live wells. By the way they run 5-7 dollars so they are not a big expense.
