Time Well Spent

What the most time you have ever spent fishing in a 24 hour period? My best was 21 hours during the last full moon. Jonah

My best has been a full 24 hour period during the fall of last year. What can I say......it's hard to beat that Mille Lacs trolling bite. Started at 6 p.m. and actually pulled the boat out at 7:00 p.m. the following evening. Would have kept fishing....but I was starting to get dilerious

I don't count the hours but I have on many occasions been out from just before sun up to after the sun goes down. So probably 16 to 17 hrs.

I'd say about 40...several times. Oh, it was in Alaska so I'm counting 2 for 1!

Longest time for me was just last weekend. Got on the water at 7:30am and fished until 2:30pm. Got home for a quick break and hit the water again from 4:30-9:00pm. If I'm doing my math right, that would be 11 1/2 hours on the water. YES- the fish were biting well all day long otherwise I don't think I would have put myself through the torture

I have put some 16 hour days in my prime. Now I am more of a 6-8 guy to get in my fix.
