Just to help you guy's out a little over the last 9 starts..

All Star Mark Buehrle has given up....43 runs and in the last 3 games 23 runs in only 13 innings of work not sure but that must be an All time record...for an All Star anyway.. grin.gif

Radke has given up 16 runs in his last 9 games....or 7 less then All Star Buehrle has given up in his last 14 innings of baseball "if you would call that baseball"...... grin.gif

Looking for Fair and Balanced responses...... grin.gif

To answer Pier,

I think that his weight distribution is off. The weight of the World Series ring on his left hand is throwing off his location (sarcasism noted?)

To answer my running mate, Buzz. I think the whole staff blows right now. Vasquez in throwing up beach balls, Garcia can be iffy as can Garland, Buehrle is in the dead zone right now and Contreras is just getting lucky enough to keep his streak alive without actually winning games. The middle relieve is suspect and the only sure thing is Jenks if they ever get to the closer in a game. I tell you, if you watched the games without knowing their record, it would be hard to tell that they are the second best team in MLB right now. The defense is OK and the hitting is solid but the pitchers need to suck it up and start throwing like the pitchers of last year. If they don't, the Kitties might run away with this thing and leave no room to gain ground when they start their slide (and I guarantee they will have a slide, Sox did last August/Sept the Kitties will too). True, the Sox are taking on a quality team right now and the Kitties are feasting on Royal carnage but the true test will come in the next series. The Sox have 13 games left vs the Kitties and so far they are 5-1 against them. We shall see. Windy

That's what amazes me about the Sox even with the less then stellar pitching they find away to win they never give up and I think the other teams just know the Sox are going to rally some of the come backs this year have been truly amazing..

Buzz,

Nice shots, any keepers or did you CPR them all? And I noticed your wireless on your wrist. Looks like a Minn Kota, yes? I have the auto pilot with the 55 lb but have yet to add the wireless, not sure if it works good or not. Fill me in brother. I am 5 days away from my two weeks on Cass Lake and would consider adding the wireless if you give it a nod. Let me know. Windy

We ended up bringing home eleven walleyes out of our foursome, one guy already had his limit in the freezer soooo. We released approx fifteen of those non slot fish, alot of 23 and 24 inch fish! I'm actually about to warm up the deep fryer outside and treat the wifey poo to Walleye din din. Your eyes do not deceive you, it is the MinnKota Auto/co-pilot set up... I have the 70 lb thrust on my 1850 Crestliner Sportfish w/150 four stroke yammy.... I missed a couple Muskie hookups, no biggee neither over 38' The Smallmouth action was also mediocre at best. Cass sounds like a blast, I missed you last year when I was on the lake one of the days you were there. If you like Walleye/Muskie fishing you should take a day and go to Mille Lacs.... a fine fishery.

I fired up the deep fryer today as well but I made Buffalo Chicken Wings, tasty! I went with the largest thrust I could on 12 amps. I wanted to have only one battery in the well, I use my other well for the foot pedal for the Minn Kota. So, would you recommend the wireless set up or do you like the corded foot pedal. I am not crazy about the foot pedal and was hoping the wireless was the way to go. Do you have as good of control on the speed and steering with the wireless? Talk to you for the next few days and then you get a break from me for two weeks, though there doesn't seem to be much to talk about right now from the Windy end of town. Mighty clean and quite here after getting swept by those dam Yankees! Windy

I say it's the way to go, you can stroll all over the boat and control your direction, speed etc... and if you push the auto-pilot it stays on a course and adjusts to the wind blowing from whatever side. I have always worn the remote on my wrist, but think it would be better if you strapped it on the base of your Rod, it comes with tie ons... I just have to get around to doing that.... also dual bank is awesome, no worries about running out of juice for a few days depending on useage.

Ya I am. Also Twinkes fan. Soxs must be looking in rear view mirror right now. I live 15 miles from Mille Lacs. Go there twice a week. Thursday and Friday. Caught a few eyes and jumbos last week.
