lawdog
I see after buying his way into the Charlotte race as a driver, he's continued his embarassing efforts at being a race team by abusing the champions provisional in only their second effort to field a Burger King car. Its no wonder he hired DJ for next year, but how's he going to make the show himself? Clearly people can't keep selling him spots in the field... JohnMickish
Exactly, with DJ having the past champions provisional at least ONE MWR car will make the race. With the 55 out of the top 35 in points and not looking like it will climb any this year things don't look so good for Mikey to make many races next year unless Toyota can put together a car that can keep him competitive. If such car does appear imagine what could happen if it where to fall into the hands of a driver with talent?
harvey lee
I cannot believe either of them will be any better in thier new Toyota's.

JohnMickish
Mikey had to get his car on tv so he stopped on the track.MWRBill Elliot, started last with a provisional finished three laps down, never a factor.Mikey, started 39, was running two laps down when he had his accident, finished 36th, 8 laps down.If Elliot is testing next years chassis Toyota is going to need LOTS of money. Seems now the only way Mikey can get his car on TV is when he's getting lapped or when he crashes.Next year I'm sure he'll be on TV all the time because of the Toyota deal but when will NAPA realize that their sponsorship money could be spent wiser elsewhere, like Kyle Busch? lawdog
Well, Kyle Busch and Hendricks are associated with CarQuest and when they keep winning and Mikey "Field Filler" Waltrip keeps crashing under caution while three laps down they are going to have to see the light sooner or later! OUTDOORNUT
You mean the Darrell Waltrip Provisional???!!!! Mickey is a sponsor whore! It is repalsive to listen to him any more. Have some darn class, the non-stop sponsor spitting is the only thing he can talk about. But then no one is really interested in listening to someone talk about their field filling 35th-43rd place car every week!
