MedicDan
I'll be up on a private lake, that my parents have a home on, and want to do some waleye fishing- any ideas for spots- here's a map-http://thoreau.dnr.state.mn.us/lakefind/lakemaps/c1799010.pdfthanks
BobT
At 36 acres, it would seem that you could just about cover the entire lake without moving your boat.Bob
solbes
Looks to be 80+ acres from DNR. But last survey was '85. Anyone seen 'eye's come out of there? It could be a good time fishing a lake that gets zero pressure.

I am just trying to think where- depths/bait for such a small lake. At one spot in the lake, you drop down a chub, you catch 5-10 pound northerns, but yeah there is only I think 10 houses or so on the lake with a litle 5 or 6 cabin resort, biggest cabin being 2 bedroom. There is no access to the lake unless you know the owner of the land that the access is on.
solbes
I suppose the weedline would be your best bet, maybe inside curves? Check the bottom material out with your graph and see if you're dealing with muck or something harder. Nice thing about small lakes is you know where they are. You just don't know why they won't bite!
Kyle Sandberg
Trolling.Use whatever you want but start at the weedlines and slowly work your way deeper. Start with cranks and if it doesn't produce, switch over to live bait. Steep shorline so boat control over depth is critical. Hope it helps. ><)))>
