Uncle Bill
Power Rankings: Chicago Matt Kenseth moves Roush Racing teammate Greg Biffle aside this week to take over the top spot in the Power Rankings. Got this from http://www.nascar.com/ By this time tommorro, I'll be at Chicago Land. First time there. I'll let you know what I think of the track. Kenseth victory sure would be sweet !! Knock jimmy (eyesbrow) johnson off the top spot. Go #

TNFL
Quote: Knock jimmy (eyesbrow) johnson off the top spot FYI the word unibrow is being added to websters dictionary this year.Anyone think JR will repeat? I'm using him in the fantasy this week, so if your wise you should all stay away.I bet if Cingular had a poll 90% would say JR repeat.
Sifty
Best guess that I have for the year is that the 29 will be in the winners circle this weekend. Enjoy the race Uncle Bill. Sifty
lawdog
If its another fuel mileage race you could have another slow, field filler car like the 8 was last year win the race... Otherwise, I look for JJ to extend his points lead this weekend after Kenseth pukes a motor or breaks a transmission. Gordon rebounds strong after Bug-eye-Biff wrecked his Daytona run with a win to lower to three the total number of NASCAR tracks he hasn't won on... OUTDOORNUT
Boris Said!!!!!! The two worst races of last season; Mayfield's gas milage win in Michigan and Jr's rip off at Chicagoland!
lawdog
Are you going to put your money where your mouth is and keep Boris on you fantasy team again this week outdoornut????
OUTDOORNUT
I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night!!! Look for Said to dorn my lineup when they attempt another race. I think they have two or three more for this year. Did you buy another dirt slingin' race car yet Dog?? When you do, I'm putting together the FM Race Bus and loading it up fellow FM guys to come down and cheer on the Dog!
lawdog
Not yet, hoping to have something by next year though, I'm really not liking this not having a car. Need to free up some time and money to make it work to get back out there though. The better half probably won't be too keen on me getting another car either, I don't think she misses the race car competition for my free time... I'll let you know though. Uncle Bill
I had a great time at Chicago Land. The facilities are some of the best I've seen. The infeild camping (no tents) is secure and friendly. Although this track, as well as any track, does have a night life. From the top of a motor coach, 5th wheel, bus, camper, if you can get ten feet in the air you can see the whole track. Plenty of rest rooms. Never seen a line at the rest rooms. They could use a second mobile shower. There were lines at times for a shower. no water hookups, but they did have a water truck and waste truck. Any seat in the grandstands was a good seat. Although the grandstand is all aluminum benches.Long run racing is not the best. cars get too spread out and lap after lap nothing much changes. Seems just when you get complacent someone blows a tire, scraps the wall or spins, and we have a race again. i will be back again to Chicago Land. The drive time to there from Minneapolis is about 8 hours (not bad) and the cost of tickets, fuel, food, was under $400.00 per person. Not bad for thurs, fri, sat, sun, of R&R.
