Is optima worth the extra money for a weekend guy?

I got the cabela's agm ( little cheaper then the optima) last year and I would say yes it is worth the investment. I have noticed a difference in running time and recharge times. I also put in an on-board charger at the same time, makes a huge difference.

I'm a weekend guy with a few multi-day trips thrown in each year. I'm on my 6 1/2 season with Cabela's AGM. If you get an onboard charger make sure it can charge the type of battery you buy. No checking water, no leaks. I'm sure you'd get the same benefits with the Optima, just more expensive.
