I have two 12 gallon tanks in my 21 ft Starcraft, one on each side. I decided to replace the old filler hoses because they were in rough shape. The filler neck on the tanks come up about 1 1/2 inches or so, to allow for the hose to clamp on. the tanks butt up against the inside walls so I have only a couple of inches space. The problem is; I have cover over the tanks to keep them out of sight, the hose must make a 90 degree bend to go through the walls and up to the filler cap on the side of the boat. the newer hose is so fexible that it just bends over on itself leaving no room for gas to flow through. Any idea on how to get the hose from bending? or does any one know if there are tanks out there that I would be able to screw a 90 degree elbow into?
We're usually fully stocked but you caught me on a bad night!
Tuesday night is usually "board meeting" night if you know what I mean. Stop in and have a tasty beverage some Tuesday night after these holidays are over and things get back to normal.
