0 Guest
You need to take off your recoil unit and figure out what is broken or binding.
0 Surface Tension
More times then not old grease with crud stuck to it is the culprit. Next would be looking at the spring to see if both ends are still secured in their positions. They are held in place by a few different ways. Could be a loop or hook in the end of the spring that set by a pin. You might also have a notch in the end of the spring. One could have come undone or broke off. 0 Valv
Whatch the recoil spring !!! After many years of messing with motors these "things" still get me everytime. I take it to a friend of mine with a small engine shop and he LAUGHING always puts them back together in 30 seconds.
