Ice House Stove

I would like to heat my ice house with a small wood stove. Does anyone have plans on how to build a small wood stove?

What you need to do is to get yourself
some 1x12 boards, cut them to the length
you want, then a top and bottom. Maybe some
2x4 legs, add a small door. Stoke it up, then bask in the radiant warmth.....

how small?? I have the one from northern. I think it is a little better than 12 inches high, about a foot deep, 6-8 inches wide? these are all rough dimensions I am not looking at it. I have to be sure I have access to it. let me know if interested. I am going to look tonight. It heated my 8x8 uninsulated shed very well. moved to a bigger shed and gas.

We used to get a brand called Airtight I think from Ace. There was a couple different sizes. I haven't seen them for years though but you might find them with a Web search.

I've also used the small wood stove from Northern. I'm thinking it was under 40 bucks. You could use it more then once too cause it was made out of steel.
Being small you're constantly feeding it wood and regulating the heat.

Speaking from experience,you're a real glutton for punishment! Those little wood stoves have two operating ranges, Blistering hot and out. They are cheap to operate though.........
