snowman1251
I have a 16 ft Lund Predator with a 60 Merc on it , and I am wondering if anyone knows how many lb capacity lift I would need for this boat.
0 Walleye Guy
An 1800 lb one would work fine. However a 2400 lb would be a better choice. It gives you some upgrade room if you ever get a bigger boat.I have two Hewitt lifts and both work awesome.
0 Gissert
I agree with Walleye Guy that a 2400 pound would be the way to go.I currently have a Hewitt 1800 pound lift for my Lund Mr. Pike 16. With a fuel tank of gas, and two batteries, the boat is close to the lift's capacity.
0 iffwalleyes
Yes plan ahead if you think you will get a different boat in the next five years make sure it will work with what you think you are going to get. We got a Hewitt Lift 2 years ago and the little Lund Explore looked a little dumb on it but the Prov on it now looks just right.
