I had just put this line on a couple of my rods but they all had titanium guides i was wondering if it would chew up my any other kind of guides any info would help

The braids will not harm ceramic guides either.

Older rods with plastic guide inserts or plain guides may be a problem though.

it will certainly wear down the plastic guides! a buddy use it on some cheap reels. not good.
