A whole lot of dinner!

I got this photo yesterday. In this birds beak are 3 grandaddy longlegs, 1 beetle of some sort, and an inchworm. I would not have believed that grackles could be so thrifty when they went out to get dinner.

He was taking them somewhere Steve. He just stopped long enough for the motor drive to rattle off four pics, and then he/she was gone.

I think grackles are one of the most handsome birds often overlooked by people. The yellow eyes and iridescent hoods are really striking in the sun. I like to scatter some corn away from the feeder just for these guys.
