Hi All- My daughter caught a real nice sunnie(c&r) and I was thinking of getting a replica made for her. She is a fishing fanatic and the look on her face when she caught the 'ol girl was priceless.... Anyways, anyone recommend a quality taxidermist who is reputable and reasonable in the Bigfork/Marcell area? Thanks in advance.

8-Ball I'm having Artistic Anglers out of Duluth doing my sons walleye.We ordered it in March and he said it should be finished this fall.We heard lots of good things about his work.$10-$12 per inch.Lower rate was at the sports show. I will put my plug in for Artistic Anglers as well. Incredible mounts. I have a 50.5 x 26.5 muskie and 95% of the people who see it have no idea that it is a replica. Go to the Mpls. Sports show. They offer a discount.

Hipp Taxidermy in Duluth has done 3 fish for me and all replicas look great. He is located on Hwy 4 just north of Duluth and also works sport shows and offers discounts there I am sure. Hoping he can do a big buck for me this season!

Mrbigeyes, I may be mistaken. But I think hipp gets his fish repos from us (Artistic Anglers). Theres alot of taxidermy shops out there that order from us, there just a middle man.

You wont believe this.
I confirmed my order for a 21" smallmouth 2 weeks ago with Fibertech in Brainerd.
Well, I already have the replica in possession.
It was $11 an inch.
Here is a couple pics. I am very happy with the quality and the turn around time was ridiculously fast.

I have a pike done by Artistic Anglers, and I am very happy with the quality of it. I was going to use them again for this smallie, but I called during business hours a few times(possibly several times) over a couple weeks, and kept getting an answering machine that took no messages.
