Winter boots?

JohnMickish

Question

Two questions here, is Cabelas "dry-plus" their version of Gore-tex and how many grams of thinsulate insullation do you feel is needed in a icefishing boot. I do most of my fishing out of a flip over style fish house.

I know it's 90 degrees out but I just ckecked some winter boot prices and I think now is the time to order as the prices are really good right now.

Yes on the Dry-Plus, I don't have any of it so do not know how it works. For insulation I would not go with anything under 1000 grams. For ice fishing I use the Lacrosse Ice Kings.

I have a pair of Cabela's Predator Extreams (1200 grams of insulation) I believe.

I spend many days every winter out on the ice and have NEVER had cold feet while wearing them! shocked.gif

They are also great on the deer stand. laugh.gif

I highly reccomend them!
