herky
I have a 95 lund pro angler and at the end of last year the gas gauge stopped working. It is pegged to the top and doesn’t move. Any idea on where to start looking to find the issue?thanks
0 Valv
There are 4 wires on back of gauge:Blue (light)Black (Negative batt)Purple (Positive batt)Pink (tank sending unit)Disconnect pink wire if gauge returns to 0 it could be the sending unit. When at 0 connect Black wire to Pink terminal, it should go to Full immediately, otherwise it's the gauge. If it's sending unit you can try to remove it from tank and see what's wrong with it (be very careful, you are dealing with gasoline here). If it the gauge let me know I sell them at $ 7.50 or you can buy them at other marine shops. 0 herky
thanks, i'll give it a try. If it is the sending unit i don't think I want to try and get to it so how big of a job is it for a shop to do?

0 NAGORSKI
I have a 99 starcraft superfisherman. And I was told my gas needle is broken or popped loose. It goes straight down when off and to E when I have the motor on and a full tank. Is this an easy fix? How would you get at the needle?
0 Valv
$ 7.50 for a new gauge, I wouldn't even consider opening one and buy a needle for it.....
0 NAGORSKI
My gas gauge is not a seperate gauge, it is all under glass with the tach, spedometer, and voltage needles. So I'm geussing this whole thing would be spendy.
