lawdog
Quote: Work is overrated. I hear ya, but the better half and the bill collectors seem to think I should do some work now and again... It was a nice day though, I even went to my first race tonight since I sold my car. I think this isn't going to last long, I felt like a hooker in church!!! Just couldn't get comfortable being there with no wheels!! Geez I barely even made it there, I almost had to turn around and come home it felt so rotten going there without a car behind my truck
harvey lee
Lawdog There is a positive in not racing and just watching the races.Look at all the money your saving.
lawdog
That's true, and the time just as big an issue, but good grief, I don't know if I can handle this... I feel the need for speed!!!!!Your boy racing much yet this year? You been to any shows? My old car is up north kind of in your area now. I think the guy is running Arlington some and Redwood some. Don't know what number he changed it to, but apparently its still my old green mountain dew colors so far...
harvey lee
We have raced about 9 races and no big shows yet.Working on getting this new 4 bar 4 link chassis to work the way he would like it to and feel comfortable in the car.One night it isnt to bad and the next, junk. We need to find that middle ground yet. What class car did you have and is the new owner still racing it the same? We will be in Arlington tonight and I'll have to look for it.
lawdog
In Arlington I'm sure it would be a Hobby A if I understand their rules right. It's a USRA hobby by design which is all of an IMCA hobby or a bit more so I would think that's their "a" hobbies whatever that's supposed to mean. The guy who bought it is named Harazin. eyepatrol
Work overrated? ABSOLUTELY!!! Unless of course you're a guide or own a resort. Happy NASCAR day to everyone. Doesn't get much better than spending part of the day on the water, part of the day grilling with family and having cold one, part of the day/night watching the race, and the other part reading up on this site.
