Without a doubt, some of the best muskie/northern fishing I have ever done is during a daylong spat of light rain like we're seeing today. I'm not too sure about my memory and if, in the past, we were on the back side of a low pressure or the front side. But it seems to me that this is pretty stable and should keep the fish biting pretty well.......or it's going to shut them down real good. I just wish I could go. If I could I'd be out there in a heartbeat. Good luck.

Some of my biggest pike have come during times of messed up weather. If you can get the rain then sun then rain trick going it seems like they get hungry. Light rain will actaully keep pike moving. The heavy down pour and thunder will shut them off in short order. Get in front of that bad weather and you are in for a good day of fishing.
