Lake Nipigon Beauties

Take a look at these Lake nipigon Lake trout. All three are in the upper 30 lb range. The first two we caught last summer and the third we caught 2 summers ago. All of them trolling with williams spoons.

That second picture is sweet. The laker has got roles on it's back. Someday I will also set foot on Nipigon.

If you are heading up there I would suggest going to Onaman River Resort. Look it up. No one ever is there and its a short trip to awesome walleyes. You have to go up a dirt road but its well worth it. We used to go to Poplar, but it was getting really anoying since they shut down the launch. I personally will be headin up there for about a week in early June. Perfect timing, eh?
