Best place to sell used truck?

FISHER ED

Question

Not that I'm trying to skirt the FM rules but besides this site, where would a good place be to list a truck for sale here in the Twin Cities? I was on the CarSoup site and that's an option but what else? What has anyone used and what was your luck? Any ideas would help. Thanks. Ed

umm, you know that big auction site wink.gif

listed my saturn with a cracked head there a while back and sold for over $1000, and to think I couldn't even find a place that would come and pick it up for free.
The guy came all the way from Neb. You just never know who's looking at that site. smile.gif

I'll second the big auction site.

I'm really into snowmobiles and at any given time, I can find plenty of old Sno-Jet stuff to keep me interested.

I parted out my 89 Polaris Indy 500 there and made $3,000 off of it. Yeah, it was a little work but I paid $2,000 probably 4-5 years before I parted it out and I had a blown motor when I sold the parts.

You just never know what someone is willing to pay for something, that is what is so great. You also risk selling at a loss too but I guess that goes with the territory.

Thanks Hemi, I'll look into your info. I know of that big auction site you speak of but the truck is fairly new and I want to just try the local listings/sites. Just don't want the dealer to get it on trade. Have to check with Rick to see how much $ it runs to list it here. Thanks.

It's like $40 in the trader. I sold a truck there. The add is good until you sell, you just have to remember to renew it every couple weeks or something around there.

I also bought my current truck in New Hampshire and drove it back to MN.
