I'm not THAT old Harvey Lee! grin.gif I always called it a foot feed because that's what I learned from my grandpa. I've pretty much gone to just calling it the gas pedal now though. I just throw out foot feed now and then for nostalgia purposes... laugh.gif I do remember the old party line at our lake place for many years though. Never got over how wierd it was to pick up the phone and hear the neighbor's conversation with someone. That had been gone from our house in town before I could ever remember.

Man you guys are OOOOLLLLD! shocked.gifshocked.gifgrin.gif I don't remember ANY of that stuff! TVs??? I can remember turning the knob, but not black and white. I guess the one "old" thing I can remember is my grandparents farm house (not far from lawdog) had an outhouse until they built a new one on the farmstead in the mid 80's.

I heard a good one about outhouse's yesterday.

I guess BACK IN THE DAY, the younger guy's would do what they called a "push back" this happened up north as I was told. About three guy's would go around to outhouse's and "push them back" about four feet. That would be one hell of a way to wake up at four in the morning.

We had a party line when we grew up. When we first moved in the phone would ring one of us kids would answer and tell them that person wasn't there. It took about three month's for us to figure out what was going on. grin.gif
