0 SUNNYD
I have heard of some problems with the Internals and have seen on a different board that at least four other people have problems with the internal GPS going on and off, I am not talking about WAAS...I am talking about the GPS location fix which requires fewer satellite fixes. I guess that I am happy with my externals and haven't had any problems with obtaining a GPS fix...within 5 seconds of turning it on I got satellite fix.BTW...I have an LMS-330C and LCX-20C.Take care! 0 Borch
I guess it depends on where you're mounting the unit. GPS work via line of site. If you set up your unit with an internal modlue in an electornic locker it'll work but you'll have more difficulty at times locking onto satilites. If you mount it out in the open then it's not an issue. So if you put in a locker during use an external antenae would probably work best. Otherwise it doesn't matter.
