Muddog
On page (4) of the 2006 Mn fishing regulations, I says; Minnows- members of the minnow family, goldfish; bullheads, ciscoes, lake whitefish, goldeye, and mooneyes, not over seven inches long, leeches, tadpole madtoms and stonecats. This would make you think that goldfish can be used as bait. It's a minnow! On page (10) It states. Using whole or parts of game fish, goldfish, or carp for bait is unlawful. Can anyone explain why goldfish have been reclassified as a minnow.
