Reel Parts?

I had my drag set way to lite and it worked its way loose and while I had my rod tip pointed down toward water,,, well my drag knob fell into the lake and now I need a new one. Anyone know of a place that sells parts?

I do not know where you are coming from, however, You could try Anglers paradise in Spring Lake Park. inside trails end. Bass pro shop.

Hayes' Tackle Plus or you can try calling the manufacturer. I had an abu-garcia reel break. I called them up and for about 10 bucks for the part and shipping I had a new reel in about a week.

You can order replacement parts directly from the reel manufacturer. Or do an on-line search for reel parts.

I have tried calling Mitchell and they refered me to some places that don't have the parts or know where to find them. The reel is older and French made.

Try White Bear Bait on 96 in White Bear. They repair reels so they might be able to get it for you.

It is a Mitchell 470,,, I don't know the yr it was made.
When I 1st lost the drag knob I did a search and actually found some place that had it where I could of ordered it. It was one of my 1st searches and I figured,,, "If I can find it that quick and easy I'll have no problem finding one later" so I planned on shopping around. Now I can't find that site or any other place that carries the part for the life of me.
