Mikoto Generators

Looking for opinions on Mikoto Generators. Looking at a used 1000w unit. It runs as quiet as a Honda but am wondering about dependability.

They are available on HSOList for $279. He's asking $150. Don't expect it to be equal to the Honda for 1/3 the price, but will it hold up for a couple fishing trips in the summer and 3 to 4 weekends ice fishing in a year? Just charging batteries and 3 lights and a fan in fish house.

If it is a 2 stroke I have one under another brand name. It seems to run ok and it is quiet. I had a problem with mine not starting in cold weather and I talked to a tech that emailed instructions for adjusting the carburetor. It starts when it is cold now. It is ok for the money and for something that gets used for what you want. I would say go for it.
