Advice for new locator.

I considering purchasing a new locator. I am considering either the Lowrance X125 or the Lowrance X102C color unit, or a comparable Eagle. What would the justification be in the higher cost color unit, if any? The peak to peak power is the same in both units (2400 W), pixels are the same (480 X 480), the color does not have flash graph or fish reveal, while the color unit has NMEA input/output. Thanks for any comments, opinions, or advice on these or some other units.

I just got the x102c and it does have the fish graph and from what I have been told the color will realy be nice. I will being trying the unit out in about 2 months. You can see the unit in action if you go to the Lowrance web site and down load the emulator. You can check both units you were looking at and see how they work. Good luck with your choice they are both good units but I think the color is the way to go. Search the net you can find some great prices on both units.

I got a 102C last summer. It's user friendly, and the visibility is great. Would highly recommend it.

I had my LCX 25C on lake Superior yesterday and man is color nice to have. I wonder what I was thinking not getting it sooner. Could really see those Lakers hugging the bottom in 80 FOW. Wouldn't of seen them with a mono.
